Should offline exams be compulsory?

Our school has announced that mandatory offline tests must be taken. Should these examinations be carried out only offline or should students have the option of appearing online in view of the pandemic which is still growing, with no vaccines available yet.

In view of the new COVID 19 strain found, that is more infectious are you willing to appear for offline exams?

I am not. Gambling with health is not a smart move. No matter how small the risk is. COVID 19 is not to be taken as lightly as it is being taken now. We were more scared of the virus at the start of the lockdown when it was not spread as much as it spread now, with time our fear for the virus grew inversely proportional to its spread. The more it spread the less we are afraid of it, which is absolutely wrong!

When a person is infected, it is not just that person being infected, everyone in their family is also exposed to the risk. We are taking this too lightly. I am not saying that it is bound to happen, but it is a risk not worth taking.
