Due to the recent events, Dixie State University has suspended all classes and have gone viral. With the corona virus pandemic looking to get more serious, students should be able to concentrate on staying healthy and being with their families in this time of crisis and last but not least contribute to stop the spread of this virus. DSU should pass all students for the semester of spring 2020 due to the inconveniences. Going from face to face to online may be difficult for some students and most students did not pay for online classes. DSU should take into consideration the current situation and pass students. We hope you take our petition into consideration. This pandemic will not only be a 2 week event, people don’t realize the severity of it and it is up to everyone to contribute and help stop the spread of COVID-19. This situation is out of our hands and was not foreseen. In these times of uncertainty it is difficult to find the ability to fully be invested in our studies as our homes, lives, neighborhoods and communities are being negatively impacted. As DSU students we take pride in our schools values and we hope that we will prevail. We hope you will hear us out.
