Thank you for signing this petition.  It would be great to hit 500 so the County understands knows our distaste for these types of senseless and expensive acts under the banner of safety.  Most of you reading do not live in a "bumper car" world.  You will notice that they are expected to vote on a slate of engineers, architects and planners at tomorrow night's (4/10) County Commissioner meeting.  They did not indicate who was nominated for this project.  They state: "Review of existing conditions and temporary safety measures and implementation of recommended modifications to temporary controls."  It is very important that we get in front of the decision makers and explain our position as a community.  As the property owner that is most affected by this, we are prepared to hire our own engineers to persuade them to make a decision based on Common Sense.  If any of you are available, it would be great you join us at the meeting and state your opinion on this matter.  Hopefully we can convince these folks that this current knee-jerk decision is not going to work.  A convoy of combine harvesters would likely get their attention.  Maybe that is extreme, but could be necessary.
