Thanks to everyone who came to the meeting last night. Kevin gave a great presentation to show how Wellington Heights means nothing to the Town of Pelham and especially to Fenwick. However, it was a done deal before he even started. A couple of Trustees asked questions, then a motion was put forward asking for the Board to re-examine the name selection, seconded and when it came to the vote everyone else voted against the motion. So many people have said that the Board does not change their decision--no matter what. We were hoping that they would have the capacity to understand how the community felt. After all, we are the tax payers, pay their salaries and somehow believe that they might listen. We will keep working at this. Any suggestions are welcome. We will keep you posted.
