We are taught in school not to judge and discriminate against others, but on March 20, 2014 the school didn't live by its own advice. Downers Grove South High School denied Ava Taylor the opportunity to attend our prom on April 26. Ava's occupation should not have an influence on the schools decision of whether or not she may attend. Ava Taylor is of no harm to the school, the students, or its faculty. Therefore she should have the opportunity to join Victor Hererra in this years prom.
