Carisa Stone started this petition to State Representatives and

Many homeowners just want peace of mind that they do not have to worry about hunting dogs or hunters approaching or invading their property, no matter how big or small their land. Currently, there are certain hunting groups who do not appear to want to solve this problem with mutual respect and a general understanding that times change when people move in and out of areas. Law enforcement and animal control are only so helpful, leaving many homeowners to suffer and have to alter their lives to manage the issues that come with dog hunting. This is unfair and needs to change.

If you have had dogs roaming and causing noise disturbance on your land...if you have asked hunters to stay off your land and were told too bad, or it’s only a few minutes of dogs running by...if your animals or yourself have been harmed by hunting dogs...if your property has been damaged as a result of dog hunting...if you are fed up and just want to live in peace...please consider signing this petition.

The goal would be to limit the areas of land hunters may use to large sects without residences, to protect animals and property of landowners above hunters and their dogs, and to ensure proper and efficient law enforcement for violations. Your signature helps to give support and strength to homeowners everywhere that feel they are not being heard and that justice is not being served. It will be brought to the upcoming meetings to discuss dog hunting issues, as well as forwarded to those in governmental positions who have the power to change the laws regarding hunting. I do not wish to have to cause unrest or permanent discord between hunters and land owners, but there are situations that need to change so that everyone is happy. This should not be a hard thing to do. Please support our cause and come to any upcoming meetings!!
