Dissolve the Homeowners Association for lonesome dove in New Braunfels, TX

The Issue

I am a resident of New Braunfels, TX lonesome dove and like many others in our community, I have been negatively impacted by the current Homeowners Association (HOA). The HOA's regulations and restrictions are not only excessive but also infringe on our rights as homeowners. Our freedom to make decisions about our own properties is being compromised.

According to the Community Associations Institute, there are approximately 351,000 homeowners associations in the United States. While these organizations can provide valuable services such as maintaining common areas and enforcing community standards for aesthetics and behavior, they can also become oppressive when they overstep their boundaries.

In New Braunfels alone, countless residents have expressed dissatisfaction with our HOA's stringent rules that limit personal expression and autonomy. This includes restrictions on landscaping choices, exterior home improvements or modifications without prior approval from the board.

We believe that it is time for a change. We propose dissolving the current HOA structure in favor of a more democratic system where all homeowners have an equal say in decisions affecting our community.

We urge you to sign this petition if you believe that homeowners should have more control over their own properties without undue interference from an overly restrictive HOA. Let us reclaim our rights as property owners!
