Disney on Broadway: New Developments for The Lion King on Broadway 20th Anniversary 2017
The Issue
This idea of mine perhaps too weird to be true, but it's certainly gonna be great!
Because, to all of us fans, The 20th anniversary of The Lion King on Broadway in 2017 would come with a flood of new developments, first up, I want to make the petition to release the broadway's soundtrack/score, under banner of the "Broadway Musical Legacy Collection" will cover the upcoming re-release of many soundtracks.
*This new 2-Disc album contains all the broadway songs, but also mixed with 22 of never before officially-released instrumental score material, with track titles such as The Pridelands/Rafiki (Score) and This Is My Home (Score). Many of these score tacks also feature four instrumental versions (Circle of Life, Endless Night, Can You Feel The Love Tonight and He Lives In You) as well as "The Charleston" sung be Timon and Pumbaa and full reprise of "Circle of Life".
Here's another development that I want to make the petition was to publish a book called, "The Lion King on Broadway: Pride Rock at 20".
*This all new 386 page book contains all the behind the scenes of the stage adaptation of The Lion King that being hailed around the world as a once-in-a-lifetime event. It features a developmental history of production through beautiful artwork, photos, shows from around the world and the behind the scenes details of the challenges the director and actors faced and the making of the elaborate sets, costumes, masks and puppets. It also features text by Julie Taymor and Foreword by Lebo M as well as an exclusive look of the 20th anniversary of the award winning broadway musical!
And last but not least, another development that I made a petition was to make a Lion King Broadway T Shirt.
And there you have it!
Although, It is really a great surprise that they care at all about our wishes and at least I was looking for a long time. Let's hope it will be directly available maybe in 2017. And on top of that we know now what your planned for the anniversary, or is there still something else to come?
