Gina Carano has proven herself to be a general trash person, from transphobia in the guise of humor, to Covid denial, to supporting the insurrection in Washington D.C., and now spouting antisemitism, and quite justly, she will not be returning to The Mandalorian or Lucasfilms in general. 

It would be a shame to let the character of Cara Dune go, and Disney Studios and Lucasfilms should consider recasting the role with Claire Amadea. Claire is the same age, height, and complexion as Carano, and even has the haircut down. Claire has a background as an actor and performer, is a film industry vet, and also has support from a large number of Star Wars fans in many states, even though they started their campaign as a joke. They are also the antithesis of Gina Carano - they believe in trans rights and the sanctity of pronouns (Claire identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns), they follow the science behind Covid-19 protocols and support mask mandates and protecting others, and they condemn the Capitol riots. They are also a life-long Star Wars fan.
