The Rise Of Skywalker Betrayed George Lucas For The Last Time.

George Lucas originally wrote story treatments for the sequels.  Disney ditched them and betrayed Lucas.  Following a devisive The Last Jedi, Disney and Lucas Film brought in George Lucas himself to help with Editing of The Rise of Skywalker to try to fix an already troubled film for the fans.  

Reportedly, in a JJ Abrams / George Lucas cut, Matt Smith of Dr. Who fame played a Sith Apprentice, Anakin Skywalker was a Force Ghost and Emperor Palpatine had Sith Possession Powers.  

These ideas would have created a more rounded film one that tied everything together and gave more honor to the original films.  Instead, Disney chose a cut approved by Bob Iger and Kathleen Kennedy with an entirely different ending void of light saber battles on Exogol and one where Rey becomes a Disney Princess and gets her kiss from a twisted Prince Charming who then dies in her arms.  

The Rise of Skywalker once again betrays George Lucas and then in one final betrayal George Lucas was not even invited to the premiere of the film.

George Lucas, who long ago rebelled against Hollywood by financing Star Wars Films himself and even left the DGA who fined him for keeping his classic Star Wars Story Crawl at the beginning of each film, now needs our help.  Without George Lucas rebelling against Hollywood, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi could have turned out exactly as these Disney Sequels did.  Lucas thought he could semi trust Disney having had a great relationship with Disney dating back to a collaboration called Captain EO culminating in the great Star Wars ride Star Tours.  Kathleen Kennedy was someone George thought would stand in his corner against Disney having been discovered by Steven Spielberg and who worked with George originally on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.  Lucas was wrong on both accounts.  George who once rebelled against Hollywood has ultimately fell victim to it in the end.  Now it is time for Star Wars fans around the world to rebel against Disney and Demand the JJ / Lucas cut be released.

For all of us fans who have loved Star Wars their entire life and for holding on for the final film hoping that Disney would do the right thing in the end, it is now time for us to demand that George Lucas be given the respect and honor he deserves by having his cut of the film released.

Star Wars fans should unite in the name of the true father of Star Wars, George Lucas and Rise as the Real Skywalkers against the True Empire and demand George Lucas' cut be released!  Please sign this petition and create a voice large enough that the Force Itself BE TRUELY AWOKEN.
