I recently heard the news that Disney was shutting down ToonTown Online, after 9 years this seems normal, though its not. The reason they gave is that they wanted to focus on "High Quality" experiences like Club Penguin and their mobile apps.
ToonTown Online focused on the idea that you hang with friends, help out civilians and stand against evil. The game offered many Disney characters and inspired worlds. ToonTown has that Disney Magic, and if shown on TV like club penguin, it would be loved more I reckon.
ToonTown offers full impressive 3D-worlds, great mini games, a Superior home system.
Email them and tell them your fondest memories of the game, and reasons to keep it open. They're not even allowing new players to try it anymore. (Shame because I can't remember my account.)
