A report released by Global Rights Compliance has shown a worrying link of several key supply chain minerals to Uyghur forced labour and the Xinjiang region. (Report link: Global Rights Compliance Report)

Companies (such as Wujo Group) linked to these minerals have a downstream customer list that includes major US brands like Disney, Coca Cola, Starbucks, and Walmart.

We demand that these US companies review their supply chain urgently and end relationships with all complicit suppliers, and exit all relationships with links to the Xinjiang region. Uyghur forced labour is so widespread in the area, that any trade links to it cannot be guaranteed to be forced-labour-free.

What is happening to the Uyghur community in China is tantamount to genocide. International companies have a duty to ensure their supply chains are not tainted with these human rights abuses.
