Dominick Peterson currently serves as the Police Chief for Mitchell, Nebraska has allegedly violated the trust our community places in him, stalking and harassing women he is supposed to protect. A legal Harassment Protection Order has been issued against him by a local woman who fell victim to his behavior. Many other women in the community have raised similar complaints against him; this pattern of sinister, predatory behavior towards the very people he is professionally obligated to guard is not only worrying, but downright unacceptable. The police force is a beacon of trust, privacy, and protection, and when someone like Dominick betrays this calling, they have no place serving in this important institution. Considering the harmful implications of his actions for community safety and women's rights, we urge the relevant authorities to dismiss Dominick from his position as Police Chief, as well as removing him from the force entirely.
