I am writing this petition as a personal plea. Mike Miles has made a decision that directly affects me and many others - he has shortened our summer. Summer, a time of relaxation and rejuvenation, is now being cut short due to his decisions. This not only impacts our well-being but also disrupts the balance between work and leisure that is essential for mental health.

According to the American Psychological Association, taking time off work reduces stress and increases productivity (APA, 2018). By reducing our summer break, Mike Miles is inadvertently contributing to increased stress levels among us.
