This petition stems from a deeply personal and distressing situation. In Blossvale, NY, there are three dogs living in a condemned house. They are malnourished and one of them has puppies. Despite the harsh weather conditions, they aren't being fed or cared for properly. Numerous complaints have been lodged about this heartbreaking situation but to no avail.

The person responsible for addressing such issues is our Dog Warden, Clayton Conover. However, despite the numerous pleas for help and intervention, Mr. Conover has failed to take any action to alleviate the suffering of these innocent animals.

This is not just about these three dogs; it's about the fundamental responsibilities of a dog warden and how those duties are being neglected in our community.

According to New York State law (Agriculture & Markets Law Article 7), dog wardens are required to enforce all laws enacted for the protection of animals within their jurisdiction. This includes ensuring that dogs have adequate food and shelter especially during extreme weather conditions.

We believe that Mr. Conover's failure to act on this issue demonstrates negligence towards his duties as a dog warden in Blossvale, NY.
