2024 is an election year.  This simple petition will send a clear message to BC Premier David Eby, Minister of Forests Bruce Ralston and the NDP government that the forestry industry in BC must change.

BC Timber Sales (BCTS) has a 20 year legacy of environmental destruction, short term financial decision making, green-washing and doublespeak. 

Dismantling BCTS is opportunity to restructure the Ministry of Forests (MoF.) 

The restructuring of MoF is necessary due to their short-sighted mismanagement of our forests, climate change and the related catastrophic wildfires.  The long term environmental health and financial well-being of the citizens of British Columbia must be prioritized.  Dismantling BCTS will also create an opportunity for the purging of legacy BCTS employees who are unlikely to be part of the solution to this mess that they have created over the past two decades.
