Please bring back the incredibly influential show Extinct or Alive. 

Forrest Galante, Patrick DeLuca, and the whole team made amazingly entertaining and educational television while also helping protect wildlife and prove to the world that multiple species that had been wrongfully deemed extinct are still alive and need protection. There isn’t a single other show out there like it. They have also brought important attention to local scientists and conservation organizations who are doing amazing work around the world to protect a whole host of species.

We know season three was in the works before CoVid hit. People around the globe need the hope that this show represents, and more importantly, the animals on the brink of extinction or wrongly deemed extinct deserve to be in the spotlight and to be investigated. There are no doubt many more species out there waiting to be rediscovered.

Forrest Galante’s work has only just begun and will continue, but Animal Planet can to broadcast it to the world to get the message out there.
