On April 10, 2015 ABC 20/20 decided to air an interview on Mary Kay Laterno. Many people complained and asked the ABC Network not to give Mary K Laterno a convicted child abuser a platform to promote her marriage to the boy she molested. However ABC chose not to answer these concerns and allowed the program to air.                                        Airing this new interview on Dicovery ID could be extremely dangerous to children because it tries to dismiss the harm that child sexual abuse has to it's victims. Mary Kay Laterno has stated that she believes what she did to her victim was not child sexual abuse it was love. However those who understand how predators justify their behavior understand they use the word love to distort and manipulate vulnerable children. We cannot allow a convicted sex offender a second opportunity to try to normalize the abuse she committed on a 13 yr old boy.
