I made this petition to make sure that Discord adds plugins and themes to their Desktop Client. This issue affects everyone on Discord and we need change now! Please sign and share with others!

Discord says that the extension BetterDiscord is against their ToS because it poses a huge security risk to people's accounts. However, Better Discord's plugins and themes are moderated to follow all of other Discord's rules. If Discord really doesn't want people using BetterDiscord then they need to implement the ability to use plugins and themes themselves.

Recently I was threatened by TruckersMP staff that if they saw me using BetterDiscord again they would report me, all because I'm using a unique theme with plugins. If it really is a problem Discord can easily do it themselves. All they have to do is allow users to create plugins and themes that can be used on Discord, and it can be easily moderated. Tons of people already use BetterDiscord, why? Because they want to be able to customize their Discord client. I bet that if someone were to create an alternative to Discord, but allowed the ability to submit themes and plugins, people would start going to that as they would be like, "Well what's the point of using Discord if I can use this other platform that's superior?" We're able to customize servers to the point of being able to add server banners, why not the entire Discord client itself.
