WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THAT PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ARE NO ONE !!?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
My dad works for my school as a Sped Teacher I have always loved going in there whenever I could to spend time with the kids they are so nice and smart they are smart in their own ways they learn in their own ways they are still IMPORTANT !!! , We can not just judge them because you think they ae different from us when really their not , they just do things different from others . I sped so much time with these kids im a 10th grader in high school and I LOVE THESE KIDS <3 I have such a big problem with people that pick on those kids I will stick out and stand up for them because that is just not acceptable for me or for anyone to do that they have no right to pick on them because they do things differently then us THEY STILL MATTER!!! love everyone like its yourself and how you want people to treat you because later in life you could end u with disabilities and you could be put in their place and see what it feels like to be judged and picked on by others . I see so many kids picking on those kids at my school because either they look different or talk different or walk or do things different DO NOT PICK ON MY BABIES !! I care so much for everyone and it hurts my heart to see them getting treated differently . I am in a club for Kids with learning differences and I love it so much I want to raise awareness to people who think that they are not important because they learn and do things differently then us . PLEASE TREAT THEM AND SEE HOW THEY MIGHT FEEL WHEN THEY ARE MADE FUN OF BECAUSE YOU MIGHT END UP LIKE THAT !! it is not a bad thing to be special , everyone is special in their own way.

What are the key issues for people with disabilities?
People with disability also experience human rights violations in many other key aspects of their life such as:
Education and Training.
Employment.
Access to services.
Health access.
Access to premises.
Voting access.
Public transport access.
Access to recreational and social activities.
Helping a person with an impairment or disability
Function: a specific act or activity that a person does or cannot do.
Impairment: a loss of function; any disorder or condition affecting one or more mind or body systems.
Disability: a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one more major life activities.
A person can have an impairment without having a disability. A person with a disability can have a wide range of impairments going from minor impairments to more severe ones. Additionally, a person with an impairment or disability will have some functions that they can perform and some they cannot. This is important when considering what type of help is appropriate. Because of the range of needs, there are as many ways to help as there are people that need that help.
