I just wanted to thank you all for your support and signatures on this really important issue! Please also include a comment so the decision makers can see the traumatic impact this is having on patients, families and carers.

We have a long way to go though, so PLEASE keep talking about these issues with those in your lives and sharing the petition, so others can understand the suspicious and maligning culture which is jeopardising adequate healthcare in this state and country, and will ultimately cost the tax payer more.

Ignoring a patients disability and health conditions only makes any issues worse with more intervention needed down the track, costing MORE. Exactly the opposite of what we are supposed to do with "early intervention" and "patient centred" healthcare.

Well, this week unfortunately brought more of the same negligent treatment from yet another medical specialist abandoning my husband due to his severely de-conditioned disability and physical health, caused by ongoing restrictions from the Tasmanian PSB. This obviously caused more anxiety, depression and mistrust to my husband and myself.

Again, I am left to try and care for my husband with only very limited support from our GP with no one to turn to for help, support or advocacy.
