Tell WOLX: We Need Our Christmas Tunes!

This year, the radio station WOLX FM (Madison, WI) waited until November 16 to “flip the switch” from its usual classic oldies format to a 24/7 stream of Christmas music. This means that WOLX listeners will have less than a month and a half of Christmas cheer to brighten their holiday season. Not only is this insufficient for WOLX's Christmas-crazy fan base, but it is an affront to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whose sacred birth this blessed holiday represents.
Please let WOLX know that you cherish our Lord and the music that commemorates his birth! September 23 is the proper time to switch formats, since, being the day after the final day of summer, it marks the start of the yuletide season. Therefore it is only right that WOLX kick off its 24/7 Christmas music programming on September 23. Sign the petition to help WOLX understand that we insist upon our fair share of Christmas music. WOLX, we love you dearly, but please stop disrespecting Christ the Redeemer and begin playing Christmas music at the appropriate time, September 23!
