Dior: Go fur free

The Issue

Versace, Kors, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Stella McCartney, Giorgio Armani, Burberry. These are all luxury brands that have banned the use of fur in their products.

But one still has not: Dior. They still haven’t joined with other luxury fashion brands and committed to going fur free, and it’s a huge issue.

When you look at a fur coat, what do you see? What you should see is an animal that likely lived a short and painful life in a cage just to be worn as a coat. Animals truly need their fur coats more than humans do - so why is this cruel practice still occurring? And why are brands like Dior still condoning it?

The millions of animals that are used for their fur spend their lives in wire cages while others are trapped for days in traps in the wild without access to food or water. They are killed cruelly by electrocution, neck-breaking, or gas chambers.

While pets like dogs and cats are typically not targeted for their fur, thousands die a year in fur traps.

100 million animals are killed EVERY YEAR for their fur. Dior is a part of that.

Dior needs to step up with other luxury fashion brands and make a statement: fur is inhumane and a completely unnecessary evil.

Sign this petition to urge them to put lives above fashion.
