The Issue

The bottom line: I really love animals. I recently bought Dior Airflash for my birthday and when I was doing some research I found out that Dior is not cruelty-free. I love the foundation, but I'd rather support another company that is cruelty-free. I believe all makeup companies should be cruelty-free because makeup isn't a necessity. Dior uses animals by-products and animal-derived ingredients such as fish, bees, and other animals. They sell in China and China has the policy to test on animals before foreign products can be sold in the main-land. They are not Peta or Leaping bunny certified. I believe Dior should start a change and become a cruelty-free luxury brand. This would open its products to a wider array of customers. At the end of the day, I believe animals should not be subjected to testing and other uses for unnecessary products such as makeup. It is just cruel. I have 5 pets at home that I dearly love: 2 tortoises, 2 cats, and 1 dog, and to think innocent animals like them get tested on every day breaks my heart. So please if you think animals have rights please sign this petition so that maybe Dior realizes they have to make a change. This is a problem with many companies, but we have to face it one step at a time.
