Warframe is an awesome game! With nearly 700 hours of gameplay and a ridiculous amount of that time being grinding and farming to get better equipment, it is a dull knife to the heart to not be able to transfer or be able to play with that account on a different platform. Because of the declining veteran / long-term player base decrease, lack of power of consoles, the inability to enjoy the game with friends on different platforms, ease of fixing problems that might mess with the market, are the reasons Warframe should be cross-platform.

Starting with the decline of veterans / long-term players, we see that there is a lack of drive to continue to play on a certain platform. An example would be me, and many others that play on PS4 and XBOX, I started off playing Warframe about 6 months after it came to console, I didn't have a computer to play on, and most, if not all, of my friends, were on PS4. Years later and a lot of specialization of weapons I can take on just about anything without worry of being far too challenged by the late game levels and enemies, they can be hard, but I can still deal with them if necessary. As I said before, I have nearly 700 hours in-game, and a large portion of that was grinding to get the stuff I have now, as well as just about every other Warframe player, and am finding it hard to want to play and stay on Warframe, which also dissuades just about anyone who might be willing to pay to get platinum.

Next, we see one of the main reasons as to why myself and many others find it hard to keep playing on console. That reason is the simple fact that it runs like garbage. Recent updates have made the game unbearably slow to someone who actually has a computer to play games. Like I said earlier I started without a PC and got one when I already had about 650 hours in-game so it isn't the easiest switch to leave all the stuff I worked so hard for behind. The same goes for many players in the community. 

The next reason is the inability to play with friends on different platforms. Personally, and I know I'm not the only one, I have met new people on my PC and the friends on PS4 are losing interest for the aforementioned reason; this leads to losing friends to play the game with, further making the game less enticing to play.

Last but not least we have the market problems. I have thought about this a bit, so maybe this isn't the best solution, but I think it'd work. When the "transfer" occurs the stuff you bring over cannot be traded. An example would be if I brought a Rhino Prime set or a really good Mod from PS4 to PC I wouldn't be able to sell it or trade it for platinum, thus keeping the market at the same level. Same goes with platinum, if I have 300 Platinum on PS4, none of it would be transferred, keeping inflation and deflation to a minimum. After that, any mods or equipment that is/are aquired cannot be sold on a different platform than the one it was earned on, and if it is sold on one account - the account it was earned on - it would disappear on the cross-platform account. Example: I have a riven mod I earned on PS4, I also get it on PC. I can't sell it on PC but I can use it. I decide to sell it on PS4 and it disappears from my PC inventory.

There it is, a case for cross-platform for Warframe!
