Siamo residenti di Itala e da febbraio 2025 siamo venuti a conoscenza di una proposta di costruzione, all’interno del centro storico del paese, di due rampe autostradali temporanee a servizio esclusivo del cantiere per il raddoppio ferroviario (Fig. 1)

Dall'immagine riportata in figura 2 i lavori del raddoppio ferroviario, iniziati da oltre 3 anni senza determinare particolari disagi alla viabilità, come riconosciuto dallo stesso Sindaco di Scaletta, sono ormai in tale fase di avanzamento che le proposte rampe temporanee potrebbero essere costruite e poi dismesse senza essere utilizzate!

Ciononostante le Amministrazioni ne promuovono la realizzazione, inspiegabilmente, soprattutto se si considera che nella fase di esercizio su ciascuna rampa è previsto il passaggio di soltanto un mezzo di cantiere ogni 2 ore.

OPPONIAMOCI ALLA REALIZZAZIONE DELL'OPERA TEMPORANEA CHE E' MANIFESTAMENTE:

INUTILE, in quanto invece di migliorare il traffico viario sulla strada statale lo peggiorerà durante le fasi di realizzazione e ripristino;

DANNOSA, per la distruzione della vegetazione arborea, polmone del paese ed unica barriera contro l'inquinamento autostradale, per l'alterazione paesaggistica, per la chiusura del presidio sanitario di guardia medica e 118, per le ripercussioni negative sulla scuola e sulla possibilità di apprendimento dei bambini, per le potenziali alterazioni strutturali sugli edifici storici e per l'impoverimento economico in termini di ridotta attrattività turistica;

PERICOLOSA, aumentando il già elevato rischio idrogeologico ed esponendo la popolazione ed in particolare i bambini che devono recarsi a scuola ai rischi determinati dalla contiguità delle aree di cantiere con gli edifici pubblici e privati, e a livelli di inquinamento atmosferico, acustico e vibrazionale previsti ben oltre i limiti consentiti dalla legge;

INUTILMENTE COSTOSA con sperpero di risorse pubbliche stimate in 3,2 milioni di euro, senza comprendere una serie di voci accessorie che faranno lievitare i costi oltre i 10 milioni di euro.

Aiutaci a fermare questa SPECULAZIONE firmando la petizione che inoltreremo alle autorità competenti

Aiutaci a far sentire la nostra voce contro il potere di amministratori che dimenticano di non essere dittatori e che vogliono imporre le loro scelte immotivate e poco chiare!

Unire le forze contro truffe travestite da mezze verità è essenziale per difendere il territorio, i cittadini ed i principi democratici.

Help us defend citizens, green spaces and the territory from speculation!

We are residents of Itala. In February 2025, we learned of a proposal to build two temporary motorway ramps in the town's historic centre, exclusively for use by the railway construction site for the project to double the number of tracks (Figure 1).

As can be seen in Figure 2, the railway doubling works began over three years ago and have not caused any significant disruption to traffic, as confirmed by the Mayor of Scaletta. The works are now at such an advanced stage that the proposed temporary ramps could be built and then dismantled without ever being used!

Nevertheless, the authorities are inexplicably promoting its construction, especially considering that only one construction vehicle is expected to pass on each ramp every two hours during the operational phase.
Let us oppose the construction of this temporary project, which is clearly:

useless: instead of improving traffic on the state road, it will worsen it during the construction and restoration phases.

it is harmful due to the destruction of tree vegetation (the town's green lung and only barrier against motorway pollution), the alteration of the landscape, the closure of the medical centre and the 118 emergency service, the negative repercussions on the school and children's learning opportunities, the potential structural alterations to historic buildings, and the economic impoverishment in terms of reduced tourist appeal.

it is also dangerous, as it increases the already high hydrogeological risk and exposes the population, particularly children who have to go to school, to the risks posed by the proximity of the construction site to public and private buildings and to levels of air, noise and vibration pollution that are expected to exceed legal limits.

it is unnecessarily expensive, wasting public resources estimated at €3.2 million, not including additional items that will increase the cost to over €10 million.

Help us to stop this speculation by signing the petition, which we will forward to the relevant authorities.
Join us in making our voice heard against administrators who forget that they are not dictators and want to impose their unjustified and unclear choices!
Combining our efforts against scams disguised as half-truths is crucial in defending our territory, our citizens, and our democratic principles.

Helfen Sie uns, Bürger, Natur und Gebiet vor Spekulationen zu schützen!

Wir sind Einwohner von Itala und haben im Februar 2025 von einem Bauvorhaben im historischen Zentrum des Ortes erfahren. Dabei sollen zwei temporäre Autobahnauffahrten ausschließlich für die Baustelle zur Verdopplung der Eisenbahnstrecke gebaut werden (siehe Abbildung 1).

 

 

 

 

Abbildung 1: Die Rampen sind innerhalb der Altstadt des Ortes vorgesehen, nur wenige Meter vom Eingang der Schule, den Wohnhäusern, der Gemeindebibliothek, der Kirche und in unmittelbarer Nähe der Gesundheitsstation entfernt. Deren einzige Zufahrtsstraße wird davon betroffen sein.
 

Aus Abbildung 2 geht hervor, dass die vor über drei Jahren begonnenen Arbeiten zur Verdoppelung der Gleise inzwischen so weit fortgeschritten sind, dass die vorgeschlagenen provisorischen Rampen gebaut und dann stillgelegt werden könnten, ohne jemals genutzt worden zu sein. Dies hat der Bürgermeister von Scaletta selbst bestätigt.

 

 

 

 

Abbildung 2 zeigt den Fortschritt der Arbeiten auf der Baustelle für den zweigleisigen Ausbau der Eisenbahnstrecke.
 
Dennoch fördern die Behörden aus unerklärlichen Gründen den Bau – vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, dass während der Betriebsphase auf jeder Rampe nur alle zwei Stunden ein Baustellenfahrzeug passieren soll.
Wir widersetzen uns der Durchführung dieses vorübergehenden Bauvorhabens, das offensichtlich:

nutzlos ist, da es den Verkehr auf der Staatsstraße während der Bau- und Wiederherstellungsphase nicht verbessert, sondern verschlechtert;

schädlich ist, da es den Baumbestand zerstört. Dieser stellt die grüne Lunge des Ortes und die einzige Barriere gegen die Verschmutzung durch die Autobahn dar. Zudem ist es schädlich für die Veränderung der Landschaft, für die Schließung der medizinischen Notfallstation und der Notrufnummer 118, für die negativen Auswirkungen auf die Schule und die Lernmöglichkeiten der Kinder, für die potenziellen baulichen Veränderungen an historischen Gebäuden und für die wirtschaftliche Verarmung aufgrund der verminderten touristischen Attraktivität;

und zudem gefährlich ist, da es das ohnehin schon hohe hydrogeologische Risiko erhöht und die Bevölkerung, insbesondere die Schulkinder, den Risiken aussetzt, die sich aus der Nähe der Baustellen zu öffentlichen und privaten Gebäuden ergeben. Hinzu kommen Luftverschmutzung, Lärmbelästigung und Vibrationen, die weit über die gesetzlich zulässigen Grenzwerte hinausgehen;

das Projekt ist unnötig kostspielig und würde zu einer Verschwendung öffentlicher Mittel in Höhe von schätzungsweise 3,2 Millionen Euro führen, ohne eine Reihe von Nebenkosten zu berücksichtigen, die die Kosten auf über 10 Millionen Euro steigen lassen werden.

Helfen Sie uns, diese Spekulation zu stoppen, indem Sie die Petition unterzeichnen. Wir werden sie an die zuständigen Behörden weiterleiten.
Helfen Sie uns, unsere Stimme gegen die Macht der Verwalter zu erheben, die vergessen haben, dass sie keine Diktatoren sind und ihre unbegründeten und unklaren Entscheidungen durchsetzen wollen!
Es ist unerlässlich, sich gegen Betrügereien, die als Halbwahrheiten getarnt sind, zusammenzuschließen, um das Gebiet, die Bürger und die demokratischen Prinzipien zu verteidigen.
