HELP MAKE GUFFEY GARAGE A HISTORIC SITE

HELP MAKE GUFFEY GARAGE A HISTORIC SITE
The Issue
Park County, Colorado Code Enforcement recently sent a letter to Bill Soux, the owner of the Guffey Garage and the Guffey General Store, demanding that he clean up the properties and take the antiques out of the outside area they currently reside in as they are in violation of code. Bill has owned the Garage and General Store for over 25 years and the antiques have been proudly displayed for that period of time. With a recent influx of Californians and others from out of state, Guffey stands a chance of not being Guffey as everyone knows it to be: a friendly place to visit and browse Bill's antiques outside and inside his buildings. Bikers, locals, area residents and tourists from out of town drive through Guffey to enjoy Bill's collection of interesting artifacts collected over the years. Please help me in getting Bill's properties a status of either on the register of National Historical Places or Heritage Site as these buildings date back to 1874 and Bill's antiques should go under the classification of open air museum for these buildings.
