I filed a labor dispute in February 2011. My case is still not completed (today is November 3, 2017). The reason my case is still not completed is that Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division (San Francisco regional office, DOL WHD) made numerous mistakes and lies to coverup their mistakes. Even the solicitor in my case lied to me and my attorney. DOL Office of Inspector General refused to investigate this DOL office’s misconducts even though I provided them with written proofs. Their lies and misconducts include: the amount they received from my former employer; imposing double-tax ignoring the settlement they wrote (astonishing 44% tax rate); retaliation against me; and more. DOL WHD never gave me any explanation or apology for their revealed misconducts. My case is not an isolated one. DOL WHD’s irresponsible, immoral, unethical abuse of power needs to be stopped immediately.
