CALIFORNIA RESTAURANT PERMITTED TO ADD DOG DISHES TO THEIR MENUPhoto courtesy of newsnerd.com
CALIFORNIA–A Los Angeles restaurant has been allowed consent to eat and sell dog meat. A Filipino activist group effectively contended that the banning of the use of canine meat did not respect their religious rights. The Puchow de Manila Eatery and Fine Dining has been granted temporary consent to offer and consume dog meat, while the Supreme Court chooses if their case has merit. The restaurant is permitted to butcher up to 3 dogs per day until the case has been finalized, with the stipulation that they must be put down accommodatingly. The World Animal Protection office called the choice “shocking,” and pledged to fight against it like there’s no tomorrow to guarantee this kind of act is no longer permitted. In the Philippines today, there are excessive amounts of canine meat sold in restaurants and markets. The meat is as sold for as cheap as $1.30/kg. The exchanging and offering of dog meat accumulates almost 3.8 million U.s. dollars for every year, and almost 500,000 mutts are executed for meat consistently. Eleven districts around the globe still expend canine meat. Those being: China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Polynesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Arctic, Antarctic, and Switzerland. Puchow de Manila Eatery and Fine Dining says the dishes will run from American styled cooking, for example, Chihuahua Chops to Korean-propelled dishes (canine soup).
Even if you are not a dog or animal lover do you want to eat dog? What if restuarants starting using dog meat without telling you to make more money? If we allow this restaurant to do this then others will want to do the same. This is not what we do in the United States. Animals have rights.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
