We want to Abolish Police Immunity so the Police Officers can be held accountable for ANY Lawsuits brought against the Police Department. The Officers will have to get their own liability insurance rather then hiding behind Police Brutality Bonds. They will be responsible for their own actions and they will have to pay financially if any lawsuits were brought against them. This will reduce a lot of the actions of officers towards the public and also will help reduce a financial burden in every city in the US. This will also reduce Police Brutality, tampering with evidence, falsifying documents, sexual harassment, and shaking down civilians. The Officers will think twice about doing something illegal for fear that they get sued and will have to pay out of their pocket. It will also keep them honest with the public because if they have to get their own liability insurance too many law suits and their premiums will rise and the insurance company may drop them completely. We need to have all police officers held accountable and also we need to keep the public safe. With everything that’s going on the public has to trust the Police Officers once again and be able to walk down the street with no more fear of our rights being violated. Also In doing this it will save the Tax Payers Millions and Millions of Dollars Per Year
