Veterinarians are listed as essential workers at both the federal level and in the province of Alberta, but not in NT, so they are not exempt from the territory's public health order during COVID-19.

We, the below signed residents of the Northwest Territories, are signing this petition to request that the Minister responsible for Health and Social Services work within the Public Health chain of command within the N.W.T, to include licensed travelling veterinarians, such as Dr. James Stickney be included as ESSENTIAL workers for the health and safety of both humans and animals within the Territory.
