Support for the Colorado Wilderness Act

The Issue

Ever since 1999, the Colorado Wilderness Act, an act designed to help protect over 1.4 MILLION acres of Colorado wilderness, has been denied consideration. However, this changed in 2019! On July 10, 2019, the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources held a hearing to consider it!

The Committee approved it on November 20, and it passed through the House of Representatives on February 12th of 2020. Unfortunately, the Republican-controlled Senate never brought it up. However, under the Democrat-controlled Senate, this act has a chance!

If you want to help save millions of acres of Colorado's beautiful environment, please sign this petition, which will reach Diana DeGette, a Colorado House Representative currently fighting for this very legislation!
