Dear Residents, Neighbours and Friends,

It has came to our attention that there is a project ongoing to open a dedicated Butcher Shop at the entrance to The Sustainable City.

We feel for obvious sustainable and ethical reasons that this idea has not been well considered and does not align with the ethos of The Sustainable City. We are also extremely concerned of the negative impact it might have on the image of TSC and the potential to discredit an entire concept which has until now been seen as an innovative and precursor for supporting sustainable living and creating a better world for tomorrow.

Beyond everyones' consumer choices (whether plant-based, semi plant-based and meat eating residents), we have created this petition in order to share our concerns with the CEO of Diamond Developers and to try to find together more appropriate projects to push forward the positive impact of our community.
