Captain Star is an animated absurdist Star Trek parody that originally aired 1997-1998 based on the comic Rockets Passing Overhead by Steven Appleby. This absolute gem of a show gained an underground cult following with only thirteen episodes and two seasons. Despite the long time since no DVD or Blu-Ray releases of Captain Star have been made. Quality television and art needs to be shared with newer generations to enjoy and keep them in the public awareness. We cannot wait as long as Captain Star for his orders from Mission Control, we need Captain Star!
