We, the undersigned, commend Devon County Council for its recent decision to withdraw over £2 million in investments from companies involved in the sale of arms to Israel. However, despite this positive action, a substantial amount of £84 million remains invested in companies that continue to sell arms to Israel, including but not limited to:

- Rolls Royce: £1,951,241

- Barclays Bank: £12,889,533

- BAE Systems: £4,969,449

- Babcock: £360,850

These investments are part of the Devon County Council pension fund portfolio. We demand that Devon County Council take immediate action to withdraw the remaining £84 million from these companies. This action is crucial to ensuring that our public funds are not supporting activities that contribute to the perpetuation of conflict and human rights abuses.

We believe that our pension fund should reflect the values of peace, justice, and ethical responsibility. By fully divesting from these companies, Devon County Council can set a powerful example and contribute to a more just and peaceful world.
