In the wake of the highly publicized tragic death of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe, many companies and governments around the world are taking a more active role in animal conservation to ensure that species on the brink of extinction, like the African lion, can survive and thrive for many years to come.

I humbly implore you to "stop facilitating the sale and transaction of lion hunting trophies on eBay." This practice, which is currently instituted on your auction platform, only serves to perpetuate the brutal canned hunts and poaching of African lions for hunting trophies.  Lion hunting trophies should not be listed for sale on your auction platform considering their rapidly diminishing numbers in the wild today, and the precarious threat of their potential extinction tomorrow.  

Please put an end to these transactions on eBay and assist us in our cause to protect these noble and magnificent creatures for future generations to love and marvel at.
