Make dA Good Again!!(Make them Deaf)

The Issue

Everyone's heard those horrible stories about deviantArt slacking off and not actively trying to make deviantArt a good place for us users anymore, right??

How realitysquared is one of the WORST staff members there, and there are still people there who aren't willing to help other than him?? How he always gives us copy+paste answers, and it's clear he NEVER reads our complaints??

Well, even if this petition won't do any good, I want all of us to band together and sign a petition showing we WANT a change. We SEE there's something wrong with the way the site functions and they NEED to make a difference to make it a better place.

DeviantArt BLACKMAILS and BRIBES people now to keep them quiet, as can be proven here:

http://excusemycourage.deviantart.com/journal/Dear-DA-Staff-update-7-14-621472453

Read that journal there, and you'll see all you need to know about dA's recent idiocy. I know petitions usually don't do much to help anymore, but maybe just MAYBE if enough of us sign something like this, deviantArt will see that people are noticing the issues. People are noticing it's no longer USER-FRIENDLY anymore. People aren't feeling safe, welcome or wanted at the site anymore.

Blackmailing and bribery are both illegal.
Bribery - "I'll give you a core membership so you can stop bugging us about your little problem because we don't wanna deal with you anymore."
Blackmailing - "If you keep bugging us, we'll make it so you can't purchase any more content here, and we could even ban you if we want."

They did literally both of those things to her. So they are breaking the laws, since both of them can be illegal.

Blackmail is an act, often a crime, involving unjustified threats to make a gain (commonly money or property) or cause loss to another unless a demand is met.

They were threatening to take away "site privileges" unless they stopped asking for an explanation on what they "did wrong". So dA did in fact blackmail ExcuseMyCourage with this.

Bribery is the practice of offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting something of value for the purpose of influencing the action of an official in discharge of his/ her public or legal duties.

They didn't openly bribe them, so that won't be "viable evidence" in court so to speak to prove that they were bribing, but it's clear that they did only give them the core so they could say "We gave you a form of reimbursment, so you can leave us alone now. Okay now, bye bye then." So that, in and of itself, can be called a bribe. The timing was too convinent, not to mention the message was apparently "sorry for the trouble". So it was a "gift" to get Courage to be quiet about it.

They tried to be slick, but nope.

I know the laws are different in different places, so it might have to be of a different level to be illegal. But it's definitely bribery and blackmail.

They clearly aren't wanting to help us artists feel "safe" and "like a community".

Even though if you go to dA's "about" section: http://about.deviantart.com/

It says, and I quote "Artists love us because we are an inclusive and supportive community." "We take great pride in creating a supportive environment for the online artist community. "

How are you supportive if you disregard any complaints any of us users have?? If you ignore us when we TELL you we are unsafe?? When we report users who are very OBVIOUSLY breaking rules, and you'd know that if you TOOK THE TIME TO CLICK the links we send you in our help requests!!

But no. No one helps us.

So sign this!!

Hopefully if enough of these petitions exist and are signed, dA will finally take the blndfold off and HELP us like they keep saying they will.
