When ever I come out of my home or office to walk to the nearest store for shopping or want to take stroll , I am forced to walk on the road  as every 10 - 20 metres , the footpath is occupied by some vendor. Kids are walking to school on road. Who will be responsible if something happens. When bmc inspectors come they remove everything, knowing from before about the planned visit and back again when inspection is over.

Some of these have also been licenced to operate from footpath. ..... why ?

Why should I be forced to walk on road. Recently a general insurance company denied claim to a pedestrian for road accident as he was walking on road. Where is the foothpath - he pleaded ??

I humbly request the administration to take it up seriously and give my foot path back to walk.
