Builders like Runwal Group have become so big that they think they are over the law and order of the country. We need to start punishing them asap before things go out of control.

Runwal Greens, a project in Mumbai is being delayed time and again for no valid reasons. “Unforeseen conditions” or “things beyond our control” have delayed the project; these are standard answers from the builders. Should we really accept it? Why don’t they manage the projects properly to cover all the unforeseen conditions? Why do they accept money from the buyers without proper paper work with the government first?

Builders are charging the flat buyers for any delay in payments, the same way I want them to start paying to the buyer. The late payment charges are issued by the builder within a day of late payment by the buyer, no consumer court is required for them but when the possession for flat is delayed by the builder the buyer cannot issue a late delivery charge, consumer has to go through the lengthy and expensive process of consumer court. Stop this discrimination; builder needs to include the late flat delivery charges to the flat buyers in the contract.
