Each year as portion of Ganesh Celebrations all the murthis after being adored for so numerous days are fair inundated in water . Next day you discover their hands their confront body all around on the shoreline this is Disregard towards the Adoring itself.

The plaster of paris made ganesha idols/statues doesn't dissolves easily and is harming the environment. Ideally the Ganesh Idol should be ECO FRIENDLY so that it can get easily dissolved in water hence you won't find  them on beaches after visarjan in such a Disrespectful State and it will also be Good for our Environment

Hence I am requesting Government to make it Mandatory that Our Lord Ganeshas idols /Murthi should be ECO FRIENDLY . This way we are not disturbing the festival and we are also maintaining respect of the Idols and keeping the environment safe.

1 year is good enough time to inform all Pandals/Mandals and using digital mediums for individuals and households. I am sure starting from Maharashtra other states will pick up . I will personally be involved in spreading this message through media and other platforms , writing letters and meeting the concerned people in person.  I need your support for this cause because I respect the festival and environment and I am sure you do too. please sign this petition and help  for this cause together.
