Appeal to CM - Maharashtra to stop denotification of highways to allow alcohol sales. 

Supreme Courts recently banned sale of alcohol in highways (National & State), Maharashtra Government is trying to tackle this ban through backdoor by denotifying the highways. 

This is highly unfair to the relatives of accident victims and general public safety on highways.

Over 3,37,000 people were killed in road accidents in 2016 alone, that is more than the number of people killed in all our wars put together.

One serious road accident in the country occurs every minute and 16 die on Indian roads every hour.
