Remove Deer Hunter 2014 Video Game Which Promotes Trophy Hunting
The Issue
In a time when animal activists/advocates are trying to promote sensitivity and respect toward all animal life there exists video games glorifying the hunting and killing of animals. I need to make it clear that I have no qualms over people who hunt animals for food, but I am, however, and so are many other animal activists/advocates, against the trophy hunters who get a "thrill" in the killing of animals either via canned hunts and/or special safari type "vacations". One such video game that glorifies trophy hunting is called Deer Hunter 2014 created by Glu Mobile. Not only can one "play" at killing Deer, but birds of prey, Zebras, Bears, Cheetahs, Elk, Lions, Wolves, etc.
Yes, some may say, "oh, it's only a video game", what harm is there, but to my mind it's promoting and giving the suggestion that it's all right to needlessly hunt animals just for the "glory" of it.
This game can be found here:

Here's the description of this game:
Description
Travel from North America’s Pacific Northwest to the Savannah of Central Africa in an epic journey to hunt the world’s most exotic animals!
FEATURES:
BRAND NEW CLUB HUNTS!: Join your friends in global cooperative challenges where teamwork is critical. Work together to complete objectives and collect rewards!
EXPLORE A LIVING WORLD: Immerse yourself in diverse environments filled with over 100 animal species! Watch out for attacking predators including bears, wolves, and cheetahs!
MAXIMUM FIREPOWER: Enjoy endless customization as you perfect your weapons. Upgrade magazines, scopes, stocks, barrels and more!
COLLECT TROPHIES: Compete for bragging rights as you bag the biggest animals with Game Center achievements and leaderboards!
Furthermore, what I found more "alarming" is the fact that not only can this game be downloaded directly from the glu.com website, but is offered as an application from the iTunes store via Apple.com. All I can think of is that the late CEO and creator of Apple, Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave, as he was a known animal activist himself and a vegetarian.
