Today our neighbors were present at the Valley District Ad Hoc meeting and Councilmember Davis’ community meeting.

Some came in opposition and others to learn more. 

The result - the city and county are pausing. They are taking a breath to build a plan for what is best for Hope Village, our neighborhood, the homeless community in general and the creeks. 

I want to stress tha the conversation shouldn’t end. Through our advocacy we’ve learned a lot about our local homeless community and the state of our waterways. 

I hope we will all continue to listen, learn, discuss and speak up.
