This is a Petition to call for the resignation of the head of Detroit Water and Sewage Department, Gary Brown. After the flood on June 26 and another flood on July 17 it has become obvious that there are major issues with the water infrastructure of this city that has either been ignored, deferred or severely lacks funding.

We the people of Detroit are tired of sitting idly by while seemingly getting no support from our elected officials. We've lost thousands and thousands of dollars over the last month and will continue to lose more if the issue is not addressed.

These officials cannot continue to point fingers and not give the people an honest explanation on why these floods continue to happen. The only way to get their attention is to show them that we no longer will have them in office. We will no longer support their 6 figure job and amazing healthcare while we sit and suffer dealing with their ignorance, greed, incompetence and inaction.

Let's scare these politicians and show them that they can and will get fired for not doing their job.
