Clean the Vernor-CSX Viaduct

Currently, the trucks going in and out of the CSX terminal at 6750 Dix are tracking dirt onto the street in the Vernor-Waterman area. The truck traffic and accompanying dirt are having a severe impact on the viaduct on Vernor just east of the entrance.

Dirt is piled up on the street and sidewalk, making it dangerous to walk and bike through that area. Dust, as the trucks move in and out, makes it harder to breathe for workers and pedestrians nearby. The dirt has also caused disruption in the drainage in the area as the dirt clogs the system. The viaduct frequently floods, with the water causing great damage to the roads in the form of cracks and potholes.

The entrance to the CSX terminal at 6750 Dix was supposed to be temporary, with the permanent entrance being shifted to Livernois. However, the entrance change has yet to happen and the community is being affected by this lack of accountability.
