Michelle Grant, the Harlem River Tenant Association president and her executive board have been in violation of the BYLAWS that governs their duties and failed to observe Governor Cathy Hochul’s New York City Public Housing Preservation Trust Act, failing to give residents the right to vote on whether we would become a Trust, RAD/PACT or remain Section 9. Most recently Michelle Grant has been in violation of her duties to preside over her own meetings, often abusing her privilege to invite guest from upper management and allowing them to act as quorum’s. Michelle Grant has failed to adhere to NYCHA’S eligibility criteria and her and her executive board have failed to fulfill their duties. Lastly, we have presented a full list of Bylaws they have violated, however NYCHA, HUD, and Harlem River Preservation FAIL to remove Michelle Grant and her executive board from office. This shows good cause for having them removed from office and this petition is the first step in doing so.
