The English Defence League and all associated off-shoots and subgroups need to be designated as  terrorist groups in the wake of the completely unacceptable violence seen in Southport and weaponising the murder of children to spread racist hate speech.

Groups like the EDL are no different than terrorist groups such as ISIS who use the Internet to spread misinformation and radicalise people. 

Some people may say the EDL no longer exists. Just because it no longer functions in an official capacity does not mean that all it's members and the idealogy of it has just disappeared and the right-wing fascist idealogy of groups like the EDL is only becoming increasingly dangerous as we've seen from the recent scenes in Southport and London.

These thugs are not "patriots" they are not "ordinary disenfranchised Men & Women" they are violent thugs and terrorists and should be treated as such by the law.
