Many times the STARS afterschool programs meticulously set up rooms to be ready for licensing and Texas Rising Star designation, only to be abruptly kicked out. This constant state of flux is disruptive not just to the program, but more importantly to the children. Students need and deserve structure, stability, and schools that show care for them beyond regular school hours.

The need for reliable afterschool care goes beyond parental convenience—it's essential for teachers and school staff who also depend on these programs for their children.
