I come from a family of military Veterans, from Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. I find it very sad that out of 365 days a year only two of those days are put aside for our soldiers. For the month of June the world is forced to celebrate PRIDE month. Four weeks of nonsense for people who don’t know what freedom is. I want to change that… I along with many others think the month of May should be Soldier Month, a month we take pride in celebrating our heroes, alive and passed away.

Honoring our veterans should not be limited to just Memorial Day and Veterans Day. These brave men and women have sacrificed so much for our freedom; they deserve more recognition throughout the year. By designating May as Soldier Month, we can ensure that their contributions are acknowledged and celebrated on a larger scale.
