My daily struggle with smartphones inspired this petition. The excessive brightness and glare from LED displays have adversely impacted my eyes. It is becoming increasingly challenging to find a suitable device that fits comfortably in my hand and pocket, causing inconvenience and discomfort. Thus, it's essential to advocate for a more user-friendly and ergonomic smartphone design that caters to people like me who seek simplicity and practicality without compromising on technology.

I propose that smartphone manufacturers produce devices with IPS displays and whole punch top-center front cameras. An IPS display offers better comfort for prolonged use, reducing eye strain due to its ability to produce colors that are natural and soothing. The inclusion of a whole punch camera design at the top center ensures that the viewing experience remains undisturbed, unlike other intrusive design alternatives such as U-shaped or teardrop notches.

Furthermore, limiting the screen size to 6 inches or less will make these smartphones easier to hold and manage, particularly for those with smaller hands or those who prefer compact devices. Recent surveys indicate an increasing demand for compact and easy-to-use smartphones, showing a promising market for manufacturers willing to meet this niche.

According to "Statista," by 2025, the number of smartphone users worldwide is projected to reach over 7.5 billion, highlighting the potential impact of introducing diverse and accessible designs. Only a fraction of these users beg for a phone matching the description above; hence, it represents an opportunity for manufacturers to expand their market share while addressing accessibility.
